Topic: God’s Word Completes Assignment (Part 2)
READ: Isaiah 55:8-11 (MSG); Numbers 23:19, 20 (KJV)
“I don’t think the way you think.
The way you work isn’t the way I work.”
God’s Decree. “For as the sky soars high above earth,
so the way I work surpasses the way you work,
and the way I think is beyond the way you think. Just as rain and snow descend from the skies
and don’t go back until they’ve watered the earth, Doing their work of making things grow and blossom,
producing seed for farmers and food for the hungry, so will the words that come out of my mouth
not come back empty-handed. They’ll do the work I sent them to do,
they’ll complete the assignment I gave them. “
“God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? Behold, I have received commandment to bless: and he hath blessed; and I can not reverse it.”
MESSAGE
Beloved child of God, the blessings of Abraham are yours. Nobody can pronounce a curse on you that will stand because God’s word sent out for your blessing will complete its assignment. Any curse pronounced on you will land on the sender and not you. It’s a curse that has no cause, so it shall not land on you. Ensure you do not give a justifiable reason (cause) for a curse to have an effect on your life, and you shall be delivered from the tongue of evil people: you shall be safe and remain blessed.
You need to remain a child of God no matter how long it seems that good promise made to you is delayed. God’s word will definitely complete that assignment for which it has been sent (pronounced). Nobody can reverse it. Anyone who tries to reverse it will end up facilitating its fulfilment and accomplishment. Balaam said, “Behold, I have received commandment to bless: and he hath blessed; and I can not reverse it.”
Search the scriptures and know for yourself all the good words (promises) God has sent (spoken) concerning you. Earnestly pray to receive inspiration and empowerment to work towards the physical manifestation of these good divine words or promises in your life. As you believe God’s word, pray, work, and patiently wait for the time of fulfilment, like the farmer who waited for the harvest. God’s Word will surely complete that assignment it has been sent out to accomplish. RELAX: Do the needful and wait, and that good word (promise) of God to you shall come to pass.
PRAYER
My God and Father, thank you for your words of admonition. Deliver me from the spirit of discouragement. I re-dedicate my life to you and trust you inspire me to pray and work right towards the accomplishment of your promise to me for which you’ve sent your Word to complete in Jesus’ name. Amen!

She was called by God into Gospel Ministry in 1985 and she was the Student Christian Movement (SCM) Travelling Secretary to Sokoto State, Nigeria, in 1990. Mary was a member of the Greater Evangelism World Crusade (an international Christian organisation) for about a decade and became one of her pastors in Rumousi, Rivers State. She was ordained into Christian Ministry in 1996 and co-founded the Kings Gospel Ministry International Incorporated (also known as Total Gospel Church) and she is the Proprietress of Total Child Development School in Nigeria (a mission school).
Mary is consecrated and currently ministering specifically to the students in the Bayelsa Medical University and generally labouring in God’s vineyard as a conference speaker: building lives, especially of youths and women. She is married to Rev. Dr. John Emmanuel Ibrahim and their union is blessed with five children.
