Topic: God’s Word Completes Assignment (Part 5)
READ: Isaiah 55:8-11 (MSG); Acts 27:23, 25 (KJV).
“I don’t think the way you think.
The way you work isn’t the way I work.”
God’s Decree. “For as the sky soars high above earth,
so the way I work surpasses the way you work,
and the way I think is beyond the way you think. Just as rain and snow descend from the skies
and don’t go back until they’ve watered the earth, Doing their work of making things grow and blossom,
producing seed for farmers and food for the hungry, So will the words that come out of my mouth
not come back empty-handed. They’ll do the work I sent them to do,
they’ll complete the assignment I gave them.”””
“For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve, Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.”
MESSAGE
Beloved, Apostle Paul, who was in a ‘hopeless’ condition in a dangerous voyage at sea, was strengthened by God’s Word sent to him through an angel. He believed God’s word would complete the assignment (of deliverance). It had been sent out to do, so he strengthened himself and the many other persons who were with him.
Hebrews 13:8 says, “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and forever.” God, Who, yesterday watched and ensured His Word and promise of deliverance sent to Apostle Paul (through His angel) came to pass is your God and will do the same for you today, and forever.
Child of God, has your marriage, health, academics, etc, become a dangerous ‘voyage’? Do not be afraid. Search the scriptures prayerfully and receive the corresponding word of deliverance God has sent out for that purpose. Strengthen yourself in God’s Word and promise as you keep praying and working (doing all the godly things you need to do yourself). And surely, the harvest of deliverance will come! You shall be delivered from the deep of the sea’s intended destruction and from all forms of dangerous beasts (snakes).
PRAYER
My God and Father, thank you for your words of admonition. Philippians 2:13 says, “For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.” Lord, God, work in me: energise my will to do your good pleasure. Help me to believe, trust, and hold on to your Word of deliverance sent to me (through the Bible and your servants) and wait and receive the good harvest of full life, peace, and joy in Jesus’ name. Amen!

Mary was a member of the Greater Evangelism World Crusade (an international Christian organisation) for about a decade and became one of her pastors in Rumousi, Rivers State. She was ordained into Christian Ministry in 1996 and co-founded the Kings Gospel Ministry International Incorporated (also known as Total Gospel Church) and she is the Proprietress of Total Child Development School in Nigeria (a mission school).
Mary is consecrated and currently ministering specifically to the students in the Bayelsa Medical University and generally labouring in God’s vineyard as a conference speaker: building lives, especially of youths and women. She is married to Rev. Dr. John Emmanuel Ibrahim and their union is blessed with five children.
