Topic: Living Water For Thirsty Soul (Part 4)
READ: Isaiah 44:2-4 (KJV); Romans 1:26-28 (MSG)
“Thus saith the LORD that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, which will help thee; Fear not, O Jacob, my servant; and thou, Jesurun, whom I have chosen. For I will pour
waterupon him that is thirsty, and
will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring: And they shall spring up as among the grass, as willows by the water courses.”
“Worse followed. Refusing to know God, they soon didn’t know how to be human either—women didn’t know how to be women, and men didn’t know how to be men. Sexually confused, they abused and defiled one another, women with women, men with men—all lust, no love. And then they paid for it, oh, how they paid for it—emptied of God and love, godless and loveless wretches.”
MESSAGE
Beloved, seek and know God (your creator) for yourself and drink from His living water daily. 2 Chronicles 15:2 says, “. . . The LORD is with you, while ye be with him; and if ye seek him, he will be found of you; but if ye forsake him, he will forsake you.” 1 Chronicles 28:9b also says, “. . . the LORD searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever.”
Only God can teach you how to be human: male and female. And only Him, your creator can quench any contrary thirst (desire) of your gender. Are you thirsty, especially of contrary desires to your gender? Come to God through Jesus Christ now and be delivered. He said, “. . . I will pour water upon him that is thirsty . . . “ Receive this living water that has the capacity to quench all thirst.
The background of every evil (sinful) thirst is the lack of adequate knowledge of God. Human beings can only know how to be humans (males and females) and live accordingly on earth when they know God, their creator. The knowledge of God and His Word is like a mirror: it reveals to you contrary desires in your life and enables (teaches) you to receive His living water to quench every lust and depart from evil.
The opening scripture says, “Refusing to know God, they soon didn’t know how to be human either—women didn’t know how to be women, men didn’t know how to be men.” The result of this is CONFUSION. The scripture says, “Sexually confused, they abused and defiled one another, women with women, men with men—all lust, no love. And then they paid for it, oh, how they paid for it—emptied of God and love, godless and loveless wretches.”
A Christian is to live in LOVE, not LUST. Examine yourself always and ensure you are living in LOVE with everyone and everything in the world. Succumbing to desires contrary to God’s Word is living in LUST, not LOVE. As a (professing) Christian, you must quench all lust (of the eyes, flesh, and pride) with God’s living water made available for you.
It is LUST that leads people to become homosexual: lesbianism and gay. Flush all that out with God’s living water. Don’t be “emptied of God and love, godless and loveless wretches.” Repent and accept God’s living water to quench that lust that has dire consequences. Don’t pay for that lust with your life eternally in hell. Come to Jesus Christ now and receive the promised living water to quench all lust so that His inputted righteousness will prevail in your daily life and prepare you for eternal bliss.
PRAYER
My God and Father, thank you for the provision of living water to quench my thirst. Let the flood of Your living water flush out every trace of the spirit of lesbianism and gay from me and deliver me from its deadly consequences in Jesus’ name. Amen!

Mary is consecrated and currently ministering specifically to the students in the Bayelsa Medical University and generally labouring in God’s vineyard as a conference speaker: building lives, especially of youths and women. She is married to Rev. Dr. John Emmanuel Ibrahim and their union is blessed with five children.
