Topic: God’s Word Completes Assignment (Part 3)
READ: Isaiah 55:8-11 (MSG); John 14:1-3 (KJV)
“I don’t think the way you think.
The way you work isn’t the way I work.”
God’s Decree. “For as the sky soars high above earth,
so the way I work surpasses the way you work,
and the way I think is beyond the way you think. Just as rain and snow descend from the skies
and don’t go back until they’ve watered the earth, Doing their work of making things grow and blossom,
producing seed for farmers and food for the hungry, so will the words that come out of my mouth
not come back empty-handed. They’ll do the work I sent them to do,
they’ll complete the assignment I gave them”
“Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”
MESSAGE
Beloved, believe God’s Word (Jesus Christ, John 1:1) which says, “I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” If God, who created this beautiful world out of nothing by His word, tells you that He’s going to prepare a better place for you and will come to receive you unto Himself to spend eternity, you need to believe Him.
Genesis 1:1-32 tells us of the creation of the world. “In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.” (Verses 1-3)
God, Who created the world by His Word and gave us all things to richly enjoy (1 Timothy 6:17), will definitely not fail in the accomplishment of His Word sent out on assignment to prepare a place for you. It will definitely be as He has said, “. . . I will come again and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” So, be of good cheer and keep to the rule of the race. Study God’s Word sent to you daily, pray and work (doing your own part), and wait patiently for the completion of the assignment on your behalf.
PRAYER
My God and Father, thank you for your Word sent out on good assignment on my behalf, especially concerning my eternal residence. Help me to keep faith in Your Word. Guide me daily to correctly study your sent-out words, pray and work, and wait patiently until I reach my eternal peaceful destination (home) to your glory in Jesus’ name. Amen!

She was called by God into Gospel Ministry in 1985 and she was the Student Christian Movement (SCM) Travelling Secretary to Sokoto State, Nigeria, in 1990. Mary was a member of the Greater Evangelism World Crusade (an international Christian organisation) for about a decade and became one of her pastors in Rumousi, Rivers State. She was ordained into Christian Ministry in 1996 and co-founded the Kings Gospel Ministry International Incorporated (also known as Total Gospel Church) and she is the Proprietress of Total Child Development School in Nigeria (a mission school).
Mary is consecrated and currently ministering specifically to the students in the Bayelsa Medical University and generally labouring in God’s vineyard as a conference speaker: building lives, especially of youths and women. She is married to Rev. Dr. John Emmanuel Ibrahim and their union is blessed with five children.
