Topic: The Lord Shall Fight For You

MEMORY VERSE
‭Exodus 14:14
“The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.”

BIBLE READING
Exodus 14:1-14

Blessed family and friends, God shall fight your battles and deliver unto you unprecedented victories and triumphs before the end of the “J” months in JESUS’ NAME.

Today’s memory verse says, “The Lord shall fight for you and you shall hold your peace.” It means that you don’t need to fight the frightening battle that you’re facing now. That storm will blow itself out and disappear just as it came.

This was exemplified in King Jehoshaphat’s life when he was surrounded by three enemy nations. God said, “Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you . . .” (2 Chronicles 20:17)

When God says you don’t need to fight a particular BATTLE, it means: The Battle is the Lord’s and not yours. “Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s.” (2 Chronicles 20:15)

If all your intelligence, socio-political connections, and wealth have not secured the desired victory, then, fight no more for the battle is the Lord’s.

So get ready to celebrate Jesus and like David, be ready to say, “This is the LORD’S doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.” (Psalm 118:23)

God shall definitely fight for you and you shall hold your peace in Jesus’ Name.

WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO

  1. Be still and know that He’s the Lord ( Psalm 46:10).
  2. Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord ( Exodus 14:13).
  3. Know that in quietness and confidence shall be your strength (Isaiah 30:15b).

PRAYERS

  1. O God arise and let my enemies scatter in Jesus’ Name.
  2. I receive the baptism of peace and favour in JESUS’ NAME.
  3. O LORD confound my adversaries to destroy themselves as you did for King Jehoshaphat.
  4. I dismantle every evil anointing or inheritance re-enforcing problems in my life in JESUS’ NAME.

Please, kindly share this Devotional. Thank you so much. God bless you. Amen!
