Topic: God Gives Fresh Strength
READ: Isaiah 40:29-31 (MSG); 41:10 (KJV)
“He energizes those who get tired,
gives fresh strength to dropouts. For even young people tire and drop out,
young folk in their prime stumble and fall. But those who wait upon God get fresh strength.
They spread their wings and soar like eagles, They run and don’t get tired,
they walk and don’t lag behind.”
“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”
MESSAGE
Beloved, God’s package for your welfare includes daily strength. As you get older, you need more strength to cope with your physical, mental, emotional, etc. needs. The quickest way to gain access to this God-given strength is to appear before Him daily. Psalms 84:7 says,
“They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.” Child of God, with your human limited strength, you can not get victory over all the ugly issues bombarding you physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Are you tired of these problems? The opening scriptures says, “”He energizes those who get tired, gives fresh strength to dropouts. For even young people tire and drop out,
young folk in their prime stumble and fall. But those who wait upon God get fresh strength. They spread their wings and soar like eagles, They run and don’t get tired, they walk and don’t lag behind.”
You need fresh God-given strength to have victory over the problems of life. And God says, “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” Develop a personal daily relationship with God. Go to Him now and always: receive fresh strength to overcome challenges.
PRAYER
My God and Father, thank you for the provision of daily fresh strength for my living. Energize me now and always as I come to you. Give me strength today and always and help me to overcome all my physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, etc challenges, and cause me to be a true example of your triumphant church on earth in Jesus’ name. Amen!

She was called by God into Gospel Ministry in 1985 and she was the Student Christian Movement (SCM) Travelling Secretary to Sokoto State, Nigeria, in 1990. Mary was a member of the Greater Evangelism World Crusade (an international Christian organisation) for about a decade and became one of her pastors in Rumousi, Rivers State. She was ordained into Christian Ministry in 1996 and co-founded the Kings Gospel Ministry International Incorporated (also known as Total Gospel Church) and she is the Proprietress of Total Child Development School in Nigeria (a mission school).
Mary is consecrated and currently ministering specifically to the students in the Bayelsa Medical University and generally labouring in God’s vineyard as a conference speaker: building lives, especially of youths and women. She is married to Rev. Dr. John Emmanuel Ibrahim and their union is blessed with five children.
