Topic: God’s Word Completes Assignment (Part 1)

READ: Isaiah 55:8-11 (MSG); Matthew 8:8,13 (KJV)

“I don’t think the way you think.
The way you work isn’t the way I work.”
God’s Decree. “For as the sky soars high above earth,
so the way I work surpasses the way you work,
and the way I think is be­yond the way you think. Just as rain and snow de­scend from the skies
and don’t go back until they’ve wa­tered the earth, Do­ing their work of making things grow and blossom,
produc­ing seed for farm­ers and food for the hungry, so will the words that come out of my mouth
not come back empty-handed. They’ll do the work I sent them to do,
they’ll complete the as­sign­ment I gave them”

“The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed… And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.

MESSAGE

Beloved, 2 Corinthians 1:20 says, “For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.” God does not talk out of both sides of His mouth. He said the words that come out of His mouth will not come back to Him empty-handed. As it is written, “They’ll do the work I sent them to do, they’ll complete the as­sign­ment I gave them.”

Dear Christian, what has God promised you through your reading and meditation of the scriptures (Bible), prophecies, and through other mediums, He communicates with you? Has God spoken good concerning you, and its physical manifestation is delayed as it happened to Abraham in the Bible? What has He spoken about? Has He promised to heal, provide, and/or promote you in your place of primary assignment, business, gospel ministry, etc? Relax: Be patient and wait for it as you continue to WORK and PRAY. That word (promise) God sent to you will surely complete its assignment and accomplish the promise, which will be physically manifested in your life.

Child of God, it shall be well with you. Just obey the scriptures concerning God’s word spoken to you. It is written in Habakkuk 2:2-3, “And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”

God’s Word spoken to you will definitely complete that assignment as it was for the centurion in the opening scripture, “And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.”

PRAYER

My God and Father, thank you for your words of admonition. I am sorry for my disbelief in your word. I return to you in full confidence that your words spoken to me will complete the assignment it’s been sent out to accomplish. Lord, God, as I continue to WORK and PRAY, help me to wait and receive what you’ve spoken about as the farmer waits for your sent rain and nutrients to get his seed (and bread) ready for harvest in Jesus’ name. Amen!
