Topic: More Than Conquerors
MEMORY VERSE
Romans 8: 37
“Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us”
BIBLE READING
Romans 8:31-39
Beloved family and friends, Victory is celebrated in proportion to the degree and strength of the opposition, the antagonist or the aggressor that confronted you. Satan is a stubborn and most dangerous antagonist but Jesus our Master, Saviour and Lord, defeated him both at Calvary and in hell to give us an astonishing and a decisive victory (Colossians 2:15 ).
Consequently, believers when faced with trials and temptations should not forget that Christ overcame the enemy for them.
Most tests and trials are occasioned by:
- Oppressive powers of darkness,
- High occult engagements,
- Remotely controlled satanic powers,
- Witchcraft manipulations,
- Unprovoked persecution,
- Church politics, etc.
Nevertheless, in all these things, the Bible says that, we are more than conquerors. Meaning that, you’re a winner and an overcomer.
In whatever category of trial or persecution that you encounter, first see yourself as a winner, not a loser. As a victor, not a victim.
The Holy Spirit recently empowered me with one word, “Confidence”. If you’re confident of what Christ has accomplished for you on the Cross at Calvary, You will always win every battle or challenge before you. The Bible says, “being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: ” (Philippians 1:6)
The Lord doesn’t start what He wouldn’t finish.
Today, step out in victory and return in triumph. You shall conquer and overwhelm your adversaries because you are more than a conqueror. Jesus has won the victory for you.
Celebrate Jesus and let the fire of your praises incinerate your enemies.
WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO
1). Be anxious for nothing and allow God to fight your battles (Ex. 14:14; Philippians 4:6)
2). Put your trust in the Lord always. (Isaiah 26:3)
3). Know that the trial of your faith is much more precious than gold. ( 1 Peter 1:7)
PRAYER POINTS
- My life is hidden in Christ and Christ in God.
- I’m favoured and indestructible in JESUS’ NAME
- You July, hear ye the word of the Lord, my family and I are destined to the top in JESUS’ NAME.
- I’m wired for BREAKTHROUGHS not breakdowns, in JESUS’ NAME.
4.Enemies of my progress, accelerate into extinction in JESUS’ NAME. - You, spirit of untimely death, my family and I are not your candidates in JESUS’ NAME.
