Topic: God Gives A Whole And Complete Life
READ: Isaiah 55:10-12 (MSG); John 10:7-10 (KJV)
“Just as rain and snow descend from the skies
and don’t go back until they’ve watered the earth, Doing their work of making things grow and blossom,
producing seed for farmers and food for the hungry, So will the words that come out of my mouth
not come back empty-handed. They’ll do the work I sent them to do,
they’ll complete the assignment I gave them.
“So you’ll go out in joy,
you’ll be led into a whole and complete life
The mountains and hills will lead the parade,
bursting with song. All the trees of the forest will join the procession,
exuberant with applause.”
“Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”
MESSAGE
Beloved, after the creation of man, is written in Genesis 1:31, “And God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.” God, Who created very good human beings, desires that they always have a whole and complete lifestyle. Remember, 3 John 1:2 says, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” This is the whole and complete life God wants for His children.
Child of God, what areas of your life do you need to have wholeness and completeness? Is it physical (food, clothes, shelter, etc); mental (understanding, natural, and academic wisdom, etc); social (good interpersonal relationships with spouse, siblings, boss, subordinates, friends, etc), and spiritual (relationships with God and His service or work on earth)? Call upon God to restore the whole and complete life He intended for you from the beginning of the world.
Sincerely ask God to reveal to you what you need to do to have a whole and complete life. And OBEY whatever He tells you to do. Remember the widow in 1 Kings 4:1-10 sought, obeyed, and became a great dealer in oil (business). And this, according to the scripture, led to their restoration: wholesome and complete life for her and her two sons.
You have your part to play to live a wholesome and complete life. You need to consciously feed your physical, mental, social, and spiritual life as it’s written about Jesus Christ in Luke 2. It is recorded in verse 52 that He increased in wisdom, stature, in favour with God and man. Continue to give each and every area of your life the ‘balanced diet’ needed for wholesome and complete living, and God will ensure you have it.
PRAYER
My God and Father, thank you for the salvation of my soul and your sure promise to give me a whole and complete lifestyle. I surrender my life to You, especially the problematic areas. I pray You show me the way of escape from these problems. Speak in ascents clear and still and help me to obey Your instructions so that I will receive your predestined whole and complete lifestyle in Jesus’ name. Amen!

She was called by God into Gospel Ministry in 1985 and she was the Student Christian Movement (SCM) Travelling Secretary to Sokoto State, Nigeria, in 1990. Mary was a member of the Greater Evangelism World Crusade (an international Christian organisation) for about a decade and became one of her pastors in Rumousi, Rivers State. She was ordained into Christian Ministry in 1996 and co-founded the Kings Gospel Ministry International Incorporated (also known as Total Gospel Church) and she is the Proprietress of Total Child Development School in Nigeria (a mission school).
Mary is consecrated and currently ministering specifically to the students in the Bayelsa Medical University and generally labouring in God’s vineyard as a conference speaker: building lives, especially of youths and women. She is married to Rev. Dr. John Emmanuel Ibrahim and their union is blessed with five children.
