Topic: God’s House Of Prayer Is For All People (Part 1)
READ: Isaiah 56:6-7 (KJV); Mark 11:15-17 (MSG)
“Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant; Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.”
“They arrived at Jerusalem. Immediately on entering the Temple, Jesus started throwing out everyone who had set up shop there, buying and selling. He kicked over the tables of the bankers and the stalls of the pigeon merchants. He didn’t let anyone even carry a basket through the Temple. And then he taught them, quoting this text:
My house was designated a house of prayer for the nations;
You’ve turned it into a hangout for thieves.”
MESSAGE
Beloved, Ecclesiastes 9:4a says, “For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope:” There is hope and joy for you who is alive and reading this right now.
God has provided the means for everyone in the nations of the world (including strangers) to be joined to Him in the person of the Lord Jesus Christ. Believe Jesus Christ was born into this world and died for your sin (inherited from Adam) and receive Him as your personal Saviour and Lord and you shall be saved and joined to Him, the only living God: to have hope and continued joy. Then, both you and your request, petitions, sacrifices, and gifts will be accepted by Him, in the house He has provided for you and everyone, called the house of prayer.
Get saved, and as one joined to the Living God be enlisted as a member of His House of prayer. Meditate on the opening scripture which says, “Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant; Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.”
PRAYER
My God and Father, thank you for the salvation of my soul. Thank you, Lord, God, for welcoming me into your house of prayer. According to your promise, Lord, God, accept my thanks and grant me answers to my requests, petitions, intercessions, and all manner of prayer I offer as your temple or in your house of prayer in Jesus’ name. Amen!

She was called by God into Gospel Ministry in 1985 and she was the Student Christian Movement (SCM) Travelling Secretary to Sokoto State, Nigeria, in 1990. Mary was a member of the Greater Evangelism World Crusade (an international Christian organisation) for about a decade and became one of her pastors in Rumousi, Rivers State. She was ordained into Christian Ministry in 1996 and co-founded the Kings Gospel Ministry International Incorporated (also known as Total Gospel Church) and she is the Proprietress of Total Child Development School in Nigeria (a mission school).
Mary is consecrated and currently ministering specifically to the students in the Bayelsa Medical University and generally labouring in God’s vineyard as a conference speaker: building lives, especially of youths and women. She is married to Rev. Dr. John Emmanuel Ibrahim and their union is blessed with five children.
