“ChristMas” is the acronym of “Christ’s Mass”, which means the ceremony or Church service held to celebrate and honour the Holy Birth of Jesus CHRIST The Anointed One, The Messiah, The King of kings, The LORD of Lords, The Saviour of the World, The Son of God.

Many people have naively argued, and accepted, that “Xmas” is an abbreviation of “Christmas”. According to its etymology, the “X” in Xmas originated in 1551 (the 16th Century) from the first letter of the Greek word Χριστός  (Khristos or Christos) which means Christ. But why should the Precious and Divine Name of Jesus Christ The Son of God be replaced with an “X” which is the first letter of His Name in the Greek language?

You, who may be arguing against this Biblical and also common-sense truth, when someone asks you what your name is, do you simply mention just the first letter of your name, e.g. that your name is “J” (instead of John) or “M” (instead of Mary)? Obviously, only an insane person would say such an insane thing. Yet you are comfortable with doing it when it comes to the divine and sacred Name of Jesus Christ and the Name of The LORD God Almighty Who created you, Who created the universe and everything in it!

Replacing the word “Christmas” with “Xmas” is part of the end-time global ungodly scheme by the agents of satan to remove Christ from Christmas, just to humanize and desecrate a divine, sacred event. And that is sacrilegious. It is the machination of atheists and godless people who oppose Jesus Christ and Christianity. It is a scheme right from the pit of hell against the Church of Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of God.

It is for the same reason many people now say “Happy Holiday” instead of “Happy Christmas”. It is an organised attack against the foundation of Christianity and the Church of Jesus Christ worldwide.

The devil does very subtle things to oppose Jesus Christ that many people find difficult to identify or decipher, wrongly thinking that those things are innocent. But they are not innocent at all. They are ungodly and dangerous.

Further, many Christians now use the abbreviations “IJN” instead of “In Jesus’ Name”, “IJMN” instead of “In Jesus’ Mighty Name”, and “Xtian” instead of “Christian”. They also use “GBU” instead of “God Bless You”. What is happening to Christians? To write the Names “Jesus”, “Christ”, and “God” in full is now a burden to the followers of Jesus Christ whom He redeemed with His excruciating, agonising, and shameful death and precious blood to become the children of God and inherit eternal life? God forbid! Tell it not in Gath!

Satan trembles at the proper mention of the Name of Jesus Christ. Therefore, he tries to do everything possible to cause people to avoid mentioning that Name.

It is not appropriate, it is not wise, it is not godly, and it is an act of dishonouring JESUS CHRIST by replacing His Precious and Divine Name with mundane abbreviations like XMAS, IJN, IJMN.

Therefore, the next time someone sends you any message with XMAS, IJN, IJMN, etc., politely tell him/her it is not appropriate to do so, please. Also, avoid using GBU as an abbreviation for “God bless you”.

Remember, even an Elder, a Pastor, a Bishop, a General Overseer or a Pope is not infallible: every person can, and does, make mistakes. Therefore, do not conclude that anything is right simply because a highly-placed Christian leader is also doing it.

Please, prayerfully meditate on the Scriptures below.

You may consider sharing this truth on this aspect of using the Name of Jesus Christ and referring to The LORD God Almighty in everyday communication.
